Ribblesdale High School pupils have been working the Rotary Club of Clitheroe and Rotary Club of Ribblesdale to promote the very worthy campaign of #purple4polio. Last month a group of pupils and volunteers from the student leaders planted crocus bulbs in the garden in front of Sainsbury’s. And as you can see in the picture they are now blooming.

#purple4polio highlights the campaign to completely eradicate the polio virus across the globe and prevent any more children suffering. The Rotary Club had raised a vast amount of money and awareness for this campaign and they are bringing the ‘iron lung’ in to school to show how polio was treated in the UK.

Again pupils at Ribblesdale show just how caring they are and how important it is to raise awareness for polio.
