The Armistice Prize was introduced in 2008 by the Lancashire Branch of the Western Front Association to mark the 90th Anniversary of the Armistice in the First World War. Each year schools from the local area are invited to submit entries in the form of booklets, models and artwork.

It is with great pleasure that we can announce that Hannah Stevens in Year 9 has won second prize for her tremendous effort in creating a model of a trench and has won the Ian Westwell’s ‘Complete Illustrated History of World War 1’ prize. Well done Hannah!
