Welcome to Ribblesdale's website

For many, this will be the first time you have heard or read about Ribblesdale School. We are situated in a semi-rural location in Clitheroe, near to the heart of the Ribble Valley in Lancashire. At the same time, we are very much a part of the national agenda to raise the standards of learning and young people's education. We are designated as a High Performing Specialist School by the Department for Education and Skills. As such, we have two specialist designations for Technology and Vocational Learning: we believe that the work we do is imaginative, exciting and makes learning relevant and enjoyable for all who learn here and work here. We were redesignated in Autumn 2007 as a High Performing Specialist School for technology and vocational learning.
