Learning Resource Centre

In summer 2008, we invested in the creation of a new LRC. The investment reflects the important role such a space has in a large secondary school, creating not just an excellent resource, but in facilitating learners to develop quickly as independent learners.

The author Joseph Delaney – from Lancashire – was our special guest in the autumn term to officially open the LRC.

The LRC consists of a suite of 20 PCs, seating for two classes as well as a fact and fiction library. The space is adjacent to the Cafe.

The LRC is staffed two evenings each week (Tuesday and Thursday) until 6pm. The LRC manager is Mrs Allonby. View the new LRC opening times.
