What is Moodle?
Moodle is Ribblesdale's Virtual Learning Environment – like a classroom on the internet. Your teachers will put up lots of useful resources to help you with your learning, which you can use at any time. they will also give you homeworks on Moodle, that you can complete on a computer at home.
How do I access it?
All you need to use Moodle is a computer with internet access. On this website you will find a link, VLE (Moodle) in the main menu. This link will take you to the Moodle, where you need to log in.
Everyone has their own username and password – you will be given this when you arrive at Ribblesdale in Year 7 and keep it throughout your time at school. This means that when you log in, you will have your own unique profile, which allows you to access all the subjects you study. Your teacher will be able to see how much time you spend on Moodle and will see the marks from any homeworks you do online.
What if I don't have internet at home?
Don't worry if you don't have internet at home – there are lots of computers in school that you can use at lunchtime or after school.
